1. Describe what the process was like in trying to create questions for your research topic
.
It was hard creating something that wasn't repeating the same question over and over again

2. What was different in your survey than the other people you worked with in your group?

My questions were more specific and had more to do with the athletic brands than just being active

3. Did your demographic questions help you in understanding your results? If yes or no explain why?

They help to see which grades prefer certain things in athletic wear and if boys or girls are more opinionated about something with sports or clothing

4. Was there anything the survey results could tell you about your topic? Be specific. If not, explain why not.

Most people who responded were junior or senior girls who preferred Nike but thought the brand was over priced and the average cost should be $50

5. How many responses did you get for your survey?

So far 19 responses

Take a screenshot (snipping tool) and post the picture of your responses in this post

6. What is a good project for the class to do that could be formatted similar to The Apprentice?

Maybe selling something at E block lunch one day and whoever sells the most wins

When to run with Nike?

1. The study talks about how Nike has become so successful since it's start 40 plus years ago. They are an international business that is known world wide for it's variety of sports gear and clothes. Sometimes Nike has  over priced it's product but it's now working to have a reasonable standard price  of $58 to satisfy customers and keep their business booming. The billions of dollar's Nike has obtained over the years is a result of the companies ability to adapt to the wishes of their customers.

2. Economic impact of Sports Marketing
Opportunity cost - Nike did this when they went from just a sports equipment company to a name brand clothing store
Infrastructure- Nike has expanded there company globally to satisfy customers around the world
Sports franchise- Nike does this every time they decide to create sports equipment for professional athletes
Grass roots marketing- Anytime Nike sponsors an event like a marathon

3. I think it would be interesting to research how much power celebrities have in the marketing world. Does the use of a celebrity in advertising benefit the company or can they survive without celebrity endorsement? Even if a celebrity is just seen with a company's product does it mean there will be an increase in sales?

1. Our biggest competition would be Nike

2. Product:
My company would offer a wide range of shoe, apparel and equipment products, all of which are currently its top-selling product categories.

Price:
My product would be priced and designed to be competitive to the other fashion Shoe retailer.

Place:
The company would be located in places where the product is in high demand and there's little competition and easy access to customers

Promotion:
The company would promote by using targeted advertising and sales to peak the customers interest. Also we could use famous athletes that serve as brand ambassadors to promote the product to their followers.

3. I think if my company followed the 4 P's of Market Mix then we could have a successful company because we would always satisfy the customer and keep them coming back with cool promotions and target advertising to make them feel like they really need the product.

4. Surprisingly the only difference between my company and Nike is that they are and international company and I feel like that's risky because whats trending in fashion here may not be everywhere else in the world so the business could fail in different parts of the world.

To me it doesn't really matter that Boston was turned down to host the 2024 Olympics. I think it would've been chaotic and more expensive than it's worth. Plus what will happen after the Olympics are over and we are left with huge arenas that we don't need? It would've been cool to say that our city has hosted the Olympics but I also think it be very stressful trying to carry out daily life during on of the world's biggest events.
